# CascadeScope Privacy and Local Storage Notice

CascadeScope is published on occt3d.com by Capgemini Engineering Research and Development S.A.S., whose registered office is at 145-151 quai du Président Roosevelt, 92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. The application and website use the Open Cascade and OCCT3D names. Questions may be submitted through the Contact Us form at https://occt3d.com/contact/.

CascadeScope does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies.

## Local processing and storage

Files selected by a visitor are processed on the visitor's device by default. The browser application uses first-party local storage to keep application settings, work the visitor chooses to retain and a record that the current CascadeScope licence was accepted.

This storage supports requested application functions and allows selected settings or work to continue between sessions. It is not used to track visitors. Prior consent is not required for this functional storage. It remains until the visitor clears the site's data, the browser removes it, or the application no longer needs it.

CascadeScope also uses a first-party service worker to support operation of the browser application. It is not used for analytics, advertising or tracking.

Visitors can remove CascadeScope storage through their browser's privacy or site-data controls. Doing so resets saved application settings and can remove locally retained working data.

## Licence acceptance

Before the application can be used, CascadeScope asks the visitor to read and accept its End-User Licence Agreement. This accepts the software licence only. It does not enable analytics, advertising or other optional storage. CascadeScope stores the acceptance of the current licence version locally so that the visitor is not asked to accept the same version on every visit.

## Network requests

The browser retrieves the application and its supporting files from occt3d.com. Website requests may be handled as described in the OCCT3D Privacy Policy. Files selected from the visitor's device are processed locally by default. If a feature requires a file transfer, the visitor will be informed before using that feature.

More information is available in the [OCCT3D Cookie Policy](https://occt3d.com/cookie-policy/) and [Privacy Policy](https://occt3d.com/privacy-policy/). Requests concerning Personal Data should be submitted through the [Open Cascade Data Subject Right Request form](https://www.opencascade.com/dsrr/).
